Olympic Games:

Harvinderpal Singh Sibia represented Kenya at the 1972 Munich Olympic Games.
 

Harvinderpal studied at Khalsa Boys & Girls Primary School and at Highway Secondary School in Nairobi, Kenya.

He also studied at South Bank College in London

He played his hockey in Kenya for Sikh Union Nairobi and when he emigrated to the UK in 1973 he played for St Albans and Maidenhead before moving to Hounslow Hockey Club, London.

He represented Middlesex in the County Championships.

Harvinderpal went on to a tour of India with the Kenya team in 1971.

He also accompanied the team at the East African Championships in Lusaka in 1971.

He was awarded his first international cap for Kenya at the age of 19 during the Munich Olympic Games in 1972.

He played against Uganda and Holland in 1972.

He represented London Indians in the 70s and 80s.

He is coach to Staines Hockey Club, South of England Divisional Team and Middlesex Under 19 County Team.
