Dharam Singh Junior represented India at the 1964 Tokyo and 1968 Mexico City Olympic Games.

Dharam Singh started hockey in school at the age of 15.

He represented Punjab University from 1954 to 1958 while a student of D.A.V. College, Jullundur.

He joined Punjab Police in 1958 and played for Punjab in the Nationals from 1959.

He played for India in the Lyons Hockey Festival in 1963 and the Hockey Festival of 1960.

He toured Europe and Japan with the Indian Team in 1966.

He a member of the victorious Asian Games team at Bangkok.
