Darshan Singh represented India at the 1964 Tokyo Olympic Games where India won the Gold Medal.

Darshan Singh joined Punjab Police in 1958.

He represented the State team in the National Championships.

He toured East Africa in 1959 with the I.H.F. team.

He played for the I.H.F. team and President’s team in 1961.

He represented India in the International Hockey Tournament at Ahmedabad in 1962.

He played in the Indian team in Jakarta Games in 1962.

He played in the Lyons International Hockey Tournament in 1963.

Darshan has been residing in the U.K. since 1966.
