Brajinder
Singh Daved represented Kenya at the 1972 Munch and the 1984
Los Angeles Olympic Games where he was the Captain.
Brajinder
was educated at City Primary School and Technical High School Nairobiin
Kenya.
He
studied at Luton College of Higher Education in the UK.
He
played for Railway Gymkhana in Kenya.
He
played for Beds Eagles; Slough; Blackheath and Indian Gymkhana in
the UK.

Brajinder
was selected to represent the Kenyan National Hockey Team at the
age of 16 years when he
toured Pakistan with Kenya team in 1969.
He
played for Kenya in Africa Cup from 1969 to 1987.
He
played in East African Championship in Zambia in 1971.

Brajinder
played for Kenya in the International tournament in Lahore
and in the East African hockey Championships.
He represented
Kenya at the first ever Hockey World Cup in Barcelona, Spain
in 1971 where Kenya finished 4th.
He also represented
Kenya in the second World Cup in Amsterveen, Netherlands in
1973.
Highlights of
Brajinder's career have been the African Championship medals,
Gold, Silver, Bronze, winning Outdoor and Indoor Titles in
England and European Cup playing for Slough Hockey Club.
He came to England
in 1974 to complete his further education and started his
professional career in England whilst still playing for Kenya
until 1987.
Brajinder was
selected for Kenya for the 1976 Montreal Games which Kenya
pulled out at the last minute whilst the team were in the
Olympic Village in Montreal.
Kenya also
boycotted the 1980 Moscow Olympic Games which meant he missed
another Olympic Games.
