Baljeet Singh Saini represented India at the 1996 Atlanta and the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.
Baljeet was the captain of the Indian team at the Junior World Cup at Milton Keynes in September 1997 where India won the Silver medal.
He played in the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur in 1998.
He played in the 1998 Utrecht and the 2002 Kuala Lumpur World Hockey Cups.
He played in the 1998 Bangkok Asian Games (1st)

He toured Germany and Belgium in 1999 and played in the World Cup Qualifier in Edinburgh in July 2001.
Baljeet was awarded the Indian National Award ‘Arjuna Puraskar’ in 2000.
